Privacy Statement

KINGS Security recognises it is important for you to know how we deal with your personal information in the provision of our services.

KINGS Security is bound by the National Privacy Principles as part of the Privacy Act 1968 (Cth).

According to the Privacy Commissioner, the federal Privacy Act covers the collection, use and disclosure, quality and security of personal information. The federal Privacy Act also gives you rights to access and correct personal information about you. You also have the right to make a complaint if you think your information has been mishandled.

Collecting information
We will not collect any information about you except where you knowingly provide it to us. The information we collect will depend on the extent of services supplied by KINGS Security. Where required by law we will seek your express permission in collecting it.

Use, disclosure, access to and correction of information
Information provided by you will only be used by KINGS Security in the provision of any agreed services and/or as directed by the federal Privacy Act 1968 (Cth).

KINGS Security may disclose some information about you to third party product providers in order to fulfill our service and/or warranty obligations to you. Such parties will generally be also bound by the terms and conditions of the federal Privacy Act 1968 (Cth).

Under the National Privacy Principles you are generally entitled to access the information we hold about you. Where you are entitled to access, the time we require to give you access will depend on the type of information requested. If we can, we will answer your question immediately.

We want our records to be accurate, complete and up to date. Unless we disagree with you about the accuracy or completeness of a record, we will generally correct it on request.

Rest assured, KINGS Security Group does not sell your email address to any direct mailing service. Nor do we use your email address to forward third party product information.

The storage and access of your email address in our database conforms to the guidelines in the National Privacy Principles.

Complaint resolution
If you require more information about the way KINGS Security manages your personal information or wish to make a complaint about a possible breach of your privacy, please contact KINGS Security in the first instance. Complaints can also be made direct to the Office of the Federal Privacy Commissioner.
